Dissemination activities

  • Ana Frangolho of Plasmore had an oral and poster presentation, both with the title: “Portable imaging SPR for the detection of contaminants and adulterants in food”, during the XI International conference on optical chemical sensor and biosensors EUROPTRODE XI (1-4 April 2012, Barcelona).
  • Willem Haasnoot presented a poster entitled “On-site detection of food allergens” during a RIKILT poster session on the 15th of November 2012.
  • Willem Haasnoot had an oral presentation entitled: “Looking into IMPRESS – A Marie Curie-Industry-Academia-Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) project.” During a RIKILT business unit (Toxicology and Bioassays) meeting on the 22nd of November 2012.
  • At the 3rd International Bio-Sensing Technology Conference, 12th-15th May 2013, the Mélia Hotel, Sitges, Spain, 2 posters were  presented:

  1. Frangolho et al.: Epitope-Enhanced Assay Sensitivity For Imaging Nanoplasmonics biosensor.
  2. Pellacani et al.: Imaging nanoplasmonics: Towards the next generation of portable and multiplexing biosensors. This poster (P224) and the presenter (Paola Pellacani of Plasmore (see picture)) were rewarded as the 3rd runner up.
  • International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (Singapore 04/07/13), Symposium “Plasmonics and Metamaterials”, by P. Pellacani, S. Giudicatti, M. Manso Silvan, A. Valsesia, L, Fornasari and F. Marabelli with an oral presentation entitled: “Plasmonic Response of Plasma Polymerized Nanopillars in Au Matrices”.
  • Plasmore (Gerardo and Ana) participated to Society of Laboratory Automation & Screening (SLAS2014) conference & exhibition in January 18-22 2014, San Diego, CA for the IMPRESSOR demonstration.
  • The XII International conference on optical chemical sensor and biosensors EUROPTRODE XII (13-16 April 2014, Athens) with a poster presentation entitled: “Surface Chemistry Functionalization In Imaging Nanoplasmonics Biosensing”, presented by L.Lopez-Sanchez and A. Frangolho (co-authors: P. Pellacani, A. Valsesia, W. Haasnoot, C.S. Nielsen, G. Marchesini).
  • The International Biosensors 2014 conference (27-30 May 2014, Melbourne, Australia) with a poster entitled: “Optical imaging biosensors for multiplex detection of food and feed contaminants “, presented by W. Haasnoot (co-authors: Jeroen Peters, Monique Bienenmann-Ploum and Ana Frangolho).
  • The 74th International IUVSTA conference (November 3-7,2014, Frejus, France) in the Bloodsurf workshop with a poster presentation entitled: “Towards allergen & allergy diagnostics based on Imaging Nanoplasmonics Technology” presented by Laura Lopez-Sanchez (co-authors: A. Frangolho, P. Pellacani, A. Valsesia, W. Haasnoot, C.S. Nielsen, G. Marchesini).
  • IDF conference (20-24 September 2015, Vilnius Lithuania) with a poster entitled: “Immunoassays for bovine milk and bovine rennet whey in milk products of other species and sources.” Presented by Willem Haasnoot (co-author Nermin Sajic).
