IMPRESS - Transfer of knowledge

The transfer of knowledge between Plasmore, RIKILT Wageningen UR and Schafer-N was carried out in the following knowledge exchange scheme:

  1. Plasmore transferred its technology of Plasmonics to RIKILT Wageningen UR and Schafer-N to develop the customized biochip for the detection of contaminants (including allergens) in food.
  2. RIKILT Wageningen UR transferred to Plasmore its knowledge in Food Safety, antibodies and the experience in using iSPR technology for food safety monitoring.
  3. Schafer-N transferred to RIKILT Wageningen UR and Plasmore its technology for design, handling and analysis of high-density peptide array chips and the optimization of the sensing antibodies for proteins (allergens).
