Work Package 4

The objective was the validation of the analytical methods by testing cereal products as examples of real food samples.


Most of the testing was done with milk samples for which antibiotics, mycotoxins and allergens are important. We also found out that our anti-κ-casein mAbs could distinguish milk from different species and that application was studied in more details. Crackers were used to study the detection of added milk proteins which was achievable until the ppm level.
